Melodies lost in the sound of traffic, footsteps just around the corner. We dream them into being - the gods, the monsters, the gargoyles and the nightingales of our modern worlds.
A strange treasure hunt; part fable and part reaction to the strange constructed gardens we grow and dwell in. Weaving across the centre of Auckland in the wake of two fey characters, this series of dance duets unfolds in six short chapters over four evenings.
Join Rainman and Melancholy Baby on a peculiar journey as they open up worlds that lie behind and between the spaces we live in.
Adorned with a skeletal umbrella, tattered newspapers and ribbons they emerge from the edges of our imaginations, searching for lost fragments and dreams.
Danced by Sam Wood-Rawnsley and Jess Quaid.
