FRESH OUT OF THE BOOKS OF MYTHICAL PASIFIKA LEGENDS!
LIMA Productions presents
MIXED NUTS 3: MYTHICAL
In the beginning there was the sky, the sea and a rock….and then…came….'MIXED NUTS 3: Mythical'!.
Strange, beautiful, weird and mythical PASIFIKA creatures from myths and legends whom will come alive in
the different Mangere Arts Centre spaces performing Contemporary cross-cultural Dances, Songs, Physical
theatre and Music. EXCITING inter-arts adventure from February 27thto March the 2nd - definitely something
Have fun with the cheeky hip-hopping Maori demi-god ‘Maui'; don't get burned by ‘Pele', the beautiful
singing Hawaiian Goddess of fire; meet the beautiful but mysterious dancing twins ‘Taema & Tilafaiga' of
the Tatau ( i.e. the Samoan tattoo); watch out for the cut throat Tongan dance duet ‘Hina and Sinilau'; and
behold the mighty power of ‘Nafanua', the Samoan Goddess of war!; and much, much more….
Watch these mythical legends come alive as you are transported through time and space. Following the
great success and popularity of MIXED NUTS and MIXED NUTS 2: UNDERWORLD, both of which featured on
FRESH TV (i.e. TV 2) and Maori TV, ‘MIXED NUTS 3: Mythical' is stronger, fresher, enlightening and more
