Allie is a lawyer based in Ōtepoti, and is grateful to live in a city where arts and culture are a part of the landscape. She was brought up going to plays at the Fortune and the Globe, and being taken to see the ballet. Creating a schedule of “must see” films at the Film Festival was a family activity even when she was very young.

Allie has an Honours degree in English from Otago University, which instilled in her a love of exploring worlds through the written and spoken word.
