This movement piece is a continuation of my exploration and research of my papas “Te pito o Tumutevarovaro,” through my first performative research of this, I’ve learnt that papa was talking about a womans’ kopapa (body).

Explore the concepts of reconnection – particularly as 2 Wāhine Māori who are learning more about Whakapapa (genealogy) and what it means to grow up in Aotearoa but with a sense of disconnection to their Māori heritage.
