THE AUTHORISED BOOTLEG TOUR

The Dark Room, Cnr Pitt and Church Street, Palmerston North

11/07/2017 - 12/07/2017

Production Details

Comedians Nick Rado (Head Writer and guest panelist, 7 Days) and Raybon Kan (Best Comedian, Metro) visit Palmerston North in July to perform their stand-up shows from this year’s NZ International Comedy Festival.

Fresh from successful seasons in Auckland and Wellington, they’re coming to Palmerston North to perform their laugh-packed shows, back-to-back, as a double feature.

Nick Rado’s show, ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ and Raybon Kan’s show ‘Positive Pessimist’ make for an unbeatable evening of comedy. Enjoy two one-hour stand-up specials in one evening, by two comedians at the top of their game.

The Dark Room is intimate, and the season is only 3 nights, so seats are limited.

A perfect way to liven up a dull, cold week

Review by Alexandra Bellad-Ellis 12th Jul 2017

The Authorised Bootleg Tour is a two hour live comedy show presented by two great New Zealand comedians; Nick Rado, and Raybon Kan. This is a brief stop off on a tour that has already seen successful seasons in Auckland and Wellington (both these shows were performed at this year’s NZ International Comedy Festival). Next it is heading down to Christchurch before being recorded for DVD.

The night opens with Nick Rado’s Live, Laugh, Love set, where Nick gives us a hilarious window into his life with his wife and son. Raybon Kan’s Positive Pessimist, which follows, is more random in its makeup with funny short stories ranging from dentists, movies and other everyday problems to one-liners.

The show is only half full, which is a real shame as this is a great show and a perfect way to liven up a dull, cold week.

The Authorised Bootleg Tour is only on for one more night, Wednesday the 12th of July at the Dark Room, which is its usual winter temperature so dress warmly, and starts at 7pm.
