Jessica Ramage holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Theatre as well as a Master of Creative Writing (MCW) specialising in playwriting. She has been a part of the creative community in Palmerston North for a number of years and has always been a supporter of the Arts. Some of her achievements are writing and directing Baggage, and I’m Still Standing, which were staged as part of Massey University Drama Society (MUDS) showcases. She also participated in the Sunday Script Sessions opportunity at Centrepoint Theatre, culminating in a rehearsed read-through of It’s All in the Delivery, written by Jessica and directed by Alex Wilson.

Jessica has also performed in many shows, a standout being the original collaborative promenade theatre piece Firing Line, orchestrated by the incredible Angie Farrow, winning Best Ensemble, Best Original Script and Production and Best Technical Support and operation at the 2018 Regional Theatre Awards. She is inspired by the creativity of Palmerston North and is a very enthusiastic audience member as well as a performer, writer and creative.
