Cindy Zeiher is a Lacanian psychoanalyst in training, translator, and senior lecturer at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha/University of Canterbury, New Zealand. There, she teaches modernist and postmodernist critical theories in the human services studies programme. A lover of avant-garde theatre, film and music, Cindy regularly attends productions and performances. Her recent writings have focused on the novels and films of Marguerite Duras.
