Production Details

Dance Danced Dancing is a new dance work by collaborators (lovers) Josie Archer and Kosta Bogoievski.

The work brings together their past interests (Form) and future practice (Scores) to create a two-part dance show for the present.

Dance Danced Dancing part 1 (Form) is abstract movement and excessive dance. It contains our passion for dance that moves us in ways we cannot articulate.

Dance Danced Dancing part 2 (Scores) is the every-day, the pedestrian, and the do do do mentality. Part one is your dance dream come true. Part two is that desire for something a little bit different, a little bit new! “…like, is that even dance or something?”

The friction and harmony of putting these two parts together makes for a show like no other. We will not blur the edges. We will dance our hardest.

Expect crudely crafted theatre. Expect sensorial euphoria. I will dance! I have danced! I am dancing!
