ATC: THE NEXT STAGE FESTIVAL OF NEW WORK  

Auckland Theatre Company’s Literary Unit is calling for submissions of full-length plays (either original works or adaptations) for its annual national festival of new work, The Next Stage.

Three plays will be selected for the 10 day workshop process followed by a season of 2 public presentations 14 – 16 November 2014. 

Plays which have been part of The Next Stage and gone on to receive professional productions by ATC and professional theatres throughout NZ include: Paniora! by Briar Grace-Smith, Black Confetti by Eli Kent, At The Wake & My Name Is Gary Cooper by Victor Rodger, On The Upside Down Of The World by Arthur Meek, and Le Sud by Dave Armstrong.
