Anastasia Matteini-Roberts has appeared in many theatre productions both on-stage and off. You may have seen her direct Declarations of Love and Other Useless Things at the Wellington Fringe Festival and Twelfth Night at BATS Theatre, to name just a few. Anastasia’s natural talent with directing comedy has been recognised by her twice sold-out season of Twelfth Night as part of the MFA 6 Degrees season, and received glowing reviews of her directing ability. She has also taught Drama to students, both in New Zealand and overseas in Beijing, China.

Anastasia studied Theatre both at Victoria University of Wellington and at Universita Cattolica in Milan, Italy, graduating with a BA and MFA (CP). A native of London, England, Anastasia now lives in Wellington, New Zealand. There you may find her knitting, cooking or researching her life’s passion – the works of William Shakespeare.
