Andrew McKenzie (Ngati Whatua o Kaipara) holds a B.A. (Theatre Studies) from University of Otago and an M.T.A. (Directing) from Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School & Victoria University of Wellington. He currently works in Secondary education and has taught in Tauranga and Dunedin. He has acted in and directed productions mainly in Dunedin, Tauranga, Wellington, and Auckland – as well as the odd tour here and abroad – and has worked in contemporary theatre, bicultural theatre, Shakespeare, NZ Opera, film, and musical theatre. He lives in Dunedin with his family of 5.
