Cilla Brown is a former member of the Samoan Government Dance Troupe. She studied with the late Seiuli Tuilagi Alan Alo, the pioneer of contemporary dance in Samoa. Heer other hat is climate change education and research which crosses over with her passion for Pacific art. She regularly participates in the cultural journey of children through teaching Siva Samoa. She resides in Auckland and works in project management and production for Pacific Islands Dance Fono Trust.
