 Heidi North has worked in publishing in London and theatre in Wellington. An award winning author, Heidi is now a freelance writer and editor based in Auckland.

Heidi writes poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction and scripts. She has worked as an actor, writer, director and producer in film and theatre. She is passionate about good storytelling across genres. She has also worked for a literary agent and was the coordinator for Show Me Shorts Film Festival for two years. She writes reviews for www.nzbooklovers.co.nz and has been reviewing for theatreview (when in New Zealand) since 2005. 

A study junkie, Heidi is a graduate of the Wellington Performing Arts Centre, Victoria University, The Creative Hub, The London School of Publishing, The Script Factory (UK) and also has an Honours degree in Screen Production from The University of Auckland.
