Joanne Hodgson holds Performance Certificates in Voice (Trinity) and Oboe (Royal Schools) and has taught music to children for nearly 20 years, bringing musical fun to hundreds of pre-schoolers as well as teaching singing to a range of students around the Wellington region, both in groups and individually.

A passion for music theatre has seen Jo tour New Zealand in Evita, with Stetson Group, as well as taking on the roles of ‘Grizabella’ in Cats for Wellington Musical Theatre, ‘Mrs Noah’ in NZ Opera’s production of Britten’s Noye’s Fludde, ‘Octavia’ in Paul Jenden and Gareth Farr’s The Nero Show at Circa and most recently ‘Hida’ in Red Scare Theatre’s premiere production of The Bone Thief.

As a choral singer, Jo was a foundation member of the New Zealand Secondary Students Choir and has been a member of the New Zealand Youth Choir and Voices New Zealand chamber choir. She currently sings with Nota Bene, Baroque Voices and Inspirare and is assistant musical director with Wellington Young Voices Children’s Choir.

John Anderson is a Wellington IT worker by day and enjoys a bit of theatre at night. He has a BA in English Literature from Victoria University of Wellington. He’s been playing Dungeons and Dragons in private for 35 years and is pretty stoked to see it on stage.
