My name is Mārie Jones and am a current 2nd year contemporary major studying at the New Zealand School of Dance. I have been based in Wellington for the past year although I spent my childhood growing up in Feilding. I have a high energy, love to try new experiences and enjoy pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. It was a honour and privilege to be a part of the World of Wearable Arts 2022 and look forward to Pacific Dance NZ Festival, Black Grace Company B and NZSD Performance Season in 2023. I aspire to pursue a long-lasting career in the dance industry and am thrilled to see what paths and opportunities the future holds for me.
