Maryanne Cathro

Maryanne Cathro has 35 years experience as a part and full time theatre practitioner. While directing and costuming have both featured heavily in that time, she is currently more likely to be seen on stage, Emceeing and performing in cabaret.

Her writing chops include a BA in English Language and Linguistics, contributing to several national magazines, and a Plain English Award from 2008.

However and most importantly, Maryanne is an avid theatre-goer ever since she stood in the aisle of the Opera House at age four transfixed by Jack and the Beanstalk. These days she tries to stay seated, but often chooses the aisle seat; just in case.
