Eons ago, wrestling loose from her love of physics, she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Otago) in French and Russian Language and Literature.

She has worked across communications roles at the University of Auckland, Unitec and AUT translating research, voicing other people’s stories and launching academics into the media spotlight.

More than once she has been described as ‘the perfect audience’. She is utterly transfixed by the performing arts, loving nothing more than to forget herself, falling into another world from the darkness of her seat.
