Michelle is a published poet who holds an Honours degree in Creative Practice. She is a founding member of Te Herenga Reo, an indigenous story teller collective and has long championed the legitimate place of indigenous voices in national and international fora. Michelle is an experienced performance artist with 3 published poetry anthologies and has been translated from her native tongue into french, italianandenglish.
