Pania Walton lives in Riwaka in Te Tauihu O Te Waka a Maui, the top of the South. She is a Masters of Arts Management student at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design in Auckland and is currently researching counter-hegemonic transformation in contemporary art space with The Physics Room Director Jamie Hanton in Christchurch. Pania has been an Art History teacher at Wellington High School, Educator at the Adam Art Gallery (Wellington), Coordinator of the Motueka Art Council’s Winter Workshops, and was the instigator and manager of the Riwaka Life Drawing sessions.
