Sandi Hall
Of Sandi’s first novel, feminist future fiction published by the prestigious Women’s Press in London, the Times Literary supplement said :”A tale of Pacific activism told with the panache of an adventure story.”
After fleeing Canada’s prairies, Sandi lived in Zambia, where drumming starts as the night thickens. She says “Coming to Aotearoa felt like coming home.” Since arriving, she has published other books, had four plays staged, created a children’s event to welcome the Millennium, and written poetry that’s been included in Otago University’s Manifesto volume.
