SIT VAC:  FINANCE MANAGER, DOWNSTAGE THEATRE 

Downstage Theatre is New Zealand’s longest running professional theatre, celebrating 40 years in 2004. An intimate theatre, which seats around 250 people, it is centrally located in Courtenay Place, Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city and cultural hub.

Downstage is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to be responsible for the financial management of the Theatre. Major responsibilities include:

• Weekly/monthly/annual financial reporting
• Strategic planning 
• Production reconciliations 
• Payroll, Paye, GST, NRWT, ACC 
• Budgets and cash flow.

This role requires a self-motivated, efficient team player that essentially ensures all financial information is produced in an accurate and timely manner.
