Q Theatre has been granted resource consent!!

We’re absolutely thrilled with reaching this major milestone!  It’s a fantastic result for everyone working towards Q and marks a significant achievement in the 10 year quest to get this theatre built. 

Not only that, but we’ve also lodged our application to the Lottery Significant Projects Fund. We’ve had confirmation from the Council that a successful application from Lotteries will guarantee their $9.2m contribution. A HUGE thank you to the hundreds of people who sent us a letter or endorsed our statement of support: it all got included in the application. We expect to hear the outcome by July and will keep you updated with progress.
