The Auckland Festival Trust is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the team in the lead up to the next Auckland Festival (3 to 20 March 2011).

Working with the Marketing and Development Manager, the Marketing Assistant will help undertake the marketing for Auckland Festival 2011, including the development of event collateral, managing direct mail and ad campaigns, liaising with the publicity and ticketing teams, and assisting with sponsorships.

This is a mid level role for a marketer who has prior experience within arts marketing.  Key skills also required:  excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copy writing; computer skills; attention to detail.  Must be able to work extra hours when required.
