THE FIRST OF THREE 2010 GATHERINGS: WHAT IS MAGDALENA? 

A one-day event with discussions, workshops and performances, addressing the question "What is Magdalena?"; open to all theatre practitioners, artists, audience and interested people.

*The first of three one-day Gatherings to be held during 2010, this event – on June 5^th – is focused on the question, "What is Magdalena?"*

The programme includes discussions, presentations, practical theatre training, video screenings and performances. Lunch will be catered at the venue, and dinner will be at a local cafe (optional, extra cost).

The fee of $35 waged and $20 unwaged includes delicious lunch and morning /afternoon teas, which are also excellent times for informal networking and exchange with other participants.

The Gathering is open to everyone – theatre practitioners, artists, audience members, interested public, men, women, students etc. Please register in advance

Two further days are planned, tentatively for the 14th of August and 23rd of October, to be themed “Inter-generational Conversations” and “Performance, Community & Activism”.
