FUSE CIRCUS Assistant Producer  
Short term contract for
Campground Chaos
outdoor circus show and tour  
December 2010 – March 2011 
 
Wellington based

Interviews: 15 – 21 November 
Job Starts: 29 November 
Approximate time: 3 weeks full time before Xmas, 5 weeks part time after Xmas
Remuneration: to be negotiated 
 
Fuse circus is looking for a fantastic individual to become part of an exciting performance project and help entertain & change people’s lives through the art of circus! You will be working at the intersection where art meets life, helping to make this summer tour sustainable and successful!
 
Roles & Activities:
Sponsorship & Fundraising
Marketing & Publicity
Touring administration & logistics
 
Skills:
Excellent, charismatic communicator, face to face, over the phone & by Internet / written word.
Good understanding of sponsorship as it relates to the arts.
Ability to organise and manage a marketing & publicity campaign.
Well organised & systematic.
Good understanding of business. Able to keep to budget.
Able to work independently & show initiative while also being part of a team.
Good graphic and design sense in relation to marketing and advertising.
Excellent problem solving & thinking creatively to find solutions.
A passion for the performing & circus arts and /or a willingness to discover more about this field.
