THE FATHER OF ROCKY RICHARD O’BRIEN GIVES HIS FENDER GUITAR & GAULTIER TAILS TO CHARITY

Auction started on Trademe on Wednesday 15 December
Closes: Sun 19 Dec, 8:03 pm

THE ‘Father of Rocky’, RICHARD O’BRIEN, has kindly donated his custom made Gaultier coat tails and Fender guitar to the Red Cross Earthquake Appeal in Christchurch.

The items belonging to Richard – who has been playing The Narrator in the critically acclaimed tour – will be put up on Trademe on Wednesday for auction.

These are collector’s items and are likely to spark keen interest. The Rocky Horror Show finishes its five-week tour of New Zealand in Christchurch tonight.

“It’s a token of my appreciation of the hospitality Christchurch has shown me and the cast during our visit here,” says Richard. “I’m hoping it will make some small difference to the massive task of rebuilding this beautiful city.”
