From Vision to the Stage – a Producing in the Performing Arts forum

Networking opportunity for producers

Wellington is a creative hub with an abundance of talent. How does a great idea go from the visioning stage to being experienced by an audience?

This free public forum is for everyone interested in the performing arts. It is a networking opportunity for Producers and everyone in the theatre community.

Highly experienced Producers including Malia Johnson, Andrew Malmo, Hilary Coe, Derek Simpson and Miria George will unlock the secrets to success and investigate challenges getting performance works ‘staged’ on all scales and in diverse environments.

Producers in the performing arts contribute to and steer the realisation of visions.

How do we achieve a skilled, confident workforce of Producers in the performing arts? What does the industry need from Producers? What do Producers need from industry, business, arts management organisations, council, tertiary institutions, the public?

Early career practitioners are encouraged to attend. All welcome!
