CENTREPOINT THEATRE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR RESIGNS

Palmerston North Theatre Trust announces with regret the resignation of popular Artistic Director Kate Louise Elliott after three and a half years in the role. 

“I have loved my time in the Manawatu but, after three and a half years of juggling a long distance relationship, it’s time to go home,” says Kate Louise. “Palmerston North is my second home. It’s a fantastic city with so much going on and it is a real testament to the people of the Manawatu and their commitment to the arts that the region has sustained a professional theatre for nearly 40 years so far.”

Palmerston North Theatre Trust Chairperson Martin Carr states “We are very sorry to see Kate Louise Elliott leave. She will be a hard act to follow. The theatre is in great shape and we are confident that we will continue to provide an excellent product for the next 40 years”.
