NZ SCHOOL OF DANCE SEEKS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER  

The New Zealand School of Dance (NZSD) is looking for a dynamic person to manage and deliver its fundraising and sponsorship activities.

Development Officer – New Zealand School of Dance 

This is a part-time position (30 hours per week) based in Wellington. The development officer will contribute to developing sustainable long term funding sources for the New Zealand School of Dance, building on the NZSD’s strong brand and loyal support base. 

Specific duties include:

• Building the NZSD’s existing donor programme
• Funding applications and reporting
• Building win-win relationships with sponsors
• Hosting events and communicating with donors, sponsors and funders

Key skills sought:

• Experience in fundraising and sponsorship
• Excellent communications skills
• A creative approach to relationship building.
