ARTIST REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR THE 2014 DUNEDIN FRINGE FESTIVAL

Artists from Dunedin, New Zealand and around the world are invited to take part in the 2014 Dunedin Fringe Festival which will be held from 13-23 March.

The Dunedin Fringe is the only Fringe Festival in the South Island of New Zealand and a major regional event involving 50 events and 400 artists from throughout New Zealand as well as international guests.

OPEN-ACCESS EVENT WHERE ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

The Festival runs an open-access policy where anyone can put on an event as long as you register by the 31 October 2013. This encourages artistic experimentation as well as participation from a wide variety of artists, producers and creatives.

We recommend intending artists read the Artist Information Pack on the Festival website which explains how the Festival works, what’s new in 2014, and how to apply for venues and funding grants.

$20,000 FUNDING UP FOR GRABS – DEADLINE 13 OCTOBER [EXTENDED FROM 7 OCT]

The Festival has received funding from Creative New Zealand to distribute to artists participating in the 2014 Festival. The aim is to encourage the development and presentation of exciting new work.
