WINNER OF THE 2013 Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prize!!!

Strangely the RadioNZ website still says: “It is Radio New Zealand’s entry for the 2013 Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prize and has made it through to the final four from a competitive field of over 20 international entries.” But the fact is, it’s the winner of the Drama category!

Lullaby Jock is an adaptation of Simon’s hit solo stage show about his father Jock Ferry’s experiences during and after the Second World War. It focuses on Jock’s wartime experience as an infantryman and how it shaped his life when he returned home.

It is Radio New Zealand’s entry for the 2013 Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prize and has made it through to the final four from a competitive field of over 20 international entries.

Cast: Simon Ferry, Tim Spite, Christopher Brougham, Russell Smith, Nikki MacDonnell, Alex Grieg and Brian Sergent, with Bruno Smith, Nina Smith, Gus Langbein and Sebastian Macaulay.

Produced by Duncan Smith and engineered by Phil Benge for Radio New Zealand
