THE FESTIVAL OF PERFORMING OBJECTS
Dear Artists and performance / buskers
The Festival of Performing Objects will take place at the Estuary Arts Centre in Orewa in the month of August.

For the month of August Estuary Arts Centre will curate an Exhibition of Performing Objects supported by an extensive programme including performance, artist talks and animation workshops.
We are inviting artists to submit work for consideration to be part of this exhibition:
Artist working in traditional puppet making methods as well as using contemporary, impermanent materials and found objects are encouraged to submit proposals:

Process
Step 1: Supply digital images and intended numbers and size of work for consideration by Saturday 12 July. Exhibitors should supply a one-page profile describing their work, background, awards received and relevant previous exhibition details. This will assist with the promotion of your work.
Step 2: All artists will be notified by Tuesday 15 July whether they have been successful, with an indication of the number of works to be submitted.
Please note that Exhibition space is limited and due to the nature of these objects, the size of proposed artworks will vary greatly, we will try to accommodate the number of exhibits proposed in your application.
Step 3: Successful applicants to submit registration and payment of $40 per artist by 20 July.
Step 4: Delivery dates: Sunday 03 August from 10am-4pm and/or Monday 04 August from 9am – 4pm
(Unless arranged prior). Please note it is preferable delivery is Monday
Step 5: Successful exhibition!
Step 6: Pick up dates for unsold items: Sunday, 31 August from 2-4pm or Monday 01 September from 9am – 12pm. Please ensure that delivery and pickup is done on the days and times stated, as we do not have storage available when exhibitions are changing over. Late deliveries will not be accepted.

Charge of $20 per stall

Process
Step 1: for planning reasons please email the gallery by Friday 20 June if you want to take part. This is a great opportunity to try out your gig / new performances
Step 2: Stall holders please book your space by Friday 20 June.
Your payment of $20 can be made via internet banking or visa / mastercard
