A development programme for female writers.

WORKING TITLES has been part of Silo Theatre’s development arm since 2012. In 2015, they are looking to create a development opportunity specifically for female theatre makers

Silo is inviting writers to pitch an idea, a scene, or an entire script that will be developed over a period of days in the lead-up to a public showing. The selected works could be presented as a full reading, a staged section, an open workshop or in some other form entirely.

Silo will assign skilled directorial and/or dramaturgical teams to each of the selected works and encourage a collaborative creative environment where the vision of the writer can be sharpened and celebrated.

WORKING TITLES will take place in April 2015. All selected works will be developed with a view to possible programming for future Silo Theatre mainstage seasons.

They are seeking contemporary storytelling that is adventurous, is innovative in its form, encourages fearless performance and showcases fresh perspectives that will inspire and challenge audiences.
With all submissions please include a bio and introduction to your script or idea that outlines your vision for the work.
