Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2015, Footnote New Zealand Dance is New Zealand’s longest running contemporary dance company, and a significant part of the dance experience for thousands of Kiwis. Committed to new work that takes risks, Footnote performs nationally and internationally in theatres, schools, and the wider community. As a registered charitable trust, Footnote is funded by Creative New Zealand under the Toi Uru Kahikatea programme. 
Together with the General Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day administrative management, communications and marketing for the company, and work proactively to secure funding, bookings and other opportunities that help achieve the vision and mission of Footnote New Zealand Dance. 
You will need to be flexible with your manner and approach to tasks, have a positive and energetic personality and an ability to work with speed. The office is fast paced and you will need to be able to multi-task. Exposure to management of the arts sector would be ideal. You will need to be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work with a wide variety of people.
