2021 TAHI: New Zealand Festival of Solo Performance
Expressions of Interest are now open!
Here are some things we will be requesting then:
Script, Production History, Reviews, Tech specs and importantly something in words or images that evokes the show.
For 2021 TAHI: New Zealand Festival of Solo Performance is looking for:
Eight main bill shows for one show only:
Professional, already premiered and reviewed, approx. 60 minutes in length.
Two children’s solo shows for one show only:
Professional, already premiered and reviewed.
Hatch – three-night season for emerging artists:
Two students (each) from Toi Whakaari, Te Auaha and Victoria University who wish to develop a 15 minute solo show with support from TAHI Festival.
Two Works in Development for a 3 night season:
Brand new work, not yet premiered for development season.
Some considerations for TAHI:
The flexibility of the show: can the show be easily packed in and out?
The technological requirements: what is the technical set up?
NB. We do like a challenge but also have time and space restrictions.
2021 TAHI: New Zealand Festival of Solo Performance will be at BATS Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand on October 19 – 23 2021.
Applications Open: March 1st 2021
Applications Deadline: 5pm, 16th April 2021
All applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application by 31st May 2021
