Usually to be found writing policy papers on The Terrace, James likes to spend his free hours watching other people being creative on stage and screen. His own acting days are long past, but he still enjoys singing in a choir. James was brought up in England, not far from Stratford-upon-Avon, so his early theatrical experiences ranged from the local amateur dramatic society to the Royal Shakespeare Company. After the Covid years, James is happy to see Wellington’s theatre scene back to strength.
