Mind-boggling comedy from a mind-reading comedian who can’t read minds. Believe it or not!
“He’s brilliant. He’ll blow your mind” (Ricky Gervais)
26 year old English comedian Chris Cox has been acclaimed as “one of the most exciting entertainers in Britain” according to The Guardian UK. His unique act takes elements of traditional mind-reading, and turns them into a mongrel hybrid mix of magic, psychology, lying and influencing to produce a highly-entertaining and very funny cutting edge show as he predicts the unpredictable.
FACT 1: Chris Cox is not a mind reader.
FACT 2: There’s no such thing as mind reading.
FACT 3: Watching this show will make you doubt the above facts.
‘Does tricks that would make Jesus proud.’ (Time Out.)
He already has a string of accolades under his belt including 4 Edinburgh Fringe shows, 1 UK Tour, 2 West End Shows, a bloody big heap of 4 and 5 star reviews, 2 Edinburgh Fringe Awards, 2007/08/09 sell out shows and numerous TV and Radio appearances.
Not only that but he was also nominated for a British Academy of Film & Television Award for his work creating the magic for the BBC series ‘MERLIN’.
Chris became interested in magic at the age of six, when he received a Paul Daniels Magic Set as a gift. Ten years later and he had been gripped by the psychological aspect of magic, specifically mind-reading, without actually being able to read minds.
Breathtakingly accurate, he constantly astonishes audiences with highly imaginative stunts, charmingly delivered with a warm and mischievous sense of fun.
He also has a number of celebrity fans including Ricky Gervais, Kelly Osbourne and Danni Minogue who is quoted as saying “Your amazing, will you marry me!”
Chris is currently developing several mind-reading projects for TV in the US and the UK while still focusing on his critically acclaimed live work.
