Monisha Kumar and Veshnu Narayanasamy bring to the audience a kaleidoscopic journey from classical sacred dances from the temples, folkdance, dances of the era of Mughal rule in India, the black and white cinematic beginnings of Bollywood cinema, the colour, love, lust and drama of yesteryears divas and villains to the upbeat rythms and exciting sounds of today’s Bollywood dance.
