Wellington’s luchador* supreme is coming to town!  Former WWF** tag team champion, and single father, El Jaguar is here on the cusp of another come back***.  Having always spent his career on the brink of success this time El Jaguar is sure he’ll make it…as a variety performer! Problem is, he has no skills, but that wont stop this force of nature from trying his damnest to entertain.

Pinatas!
Jokes!
Party Poppers!
Accordions!
What ever it takes to bring a smile.
Having spent the last year in Wellington honing himself as an MC, El Jaguar is ready to launch a national assault on New Zealand with his chihuahua energy and dizzying lack of extraneous talent.  A carnival like night of fiesta-like proportions.  Does an over the hill has been have what it takes to entertain on a national level or will it all end in tequila and tears?

Wickedly funny

Review by Suzanne Edwards 12th May 2010

El Jaguar’s Festival Fiesta De Haha is a rip roaring show of immense proportions (the guy next to me was practically crying with laughter).

El Jaguar knows how to get the best out of an audience with lion tamers, legends and awkward pauses interspersed with hilarity. He manages to be wickedly funny and intensely respectful while delivering a show that is both cleverly planned and spontaneous.

Go see it, you won’t regret it.
