James Keating in Wide Eyed

Comedy Underground, 305 Queen St, Auckland

23/05/2007 - 26/05/2007

NZ International Comedy Festival 2007-09, 2013

Production Details

Comedy comes from observation, and James Keating’s new comedy show distils a lifetime of observations into a hilarious hour of stand up. His show Wide Eyed takes you inside the mind of a comedian obsessed with everyday small and seemingly mundane things, and adds a twist to topics such as wheelchair parks, pets, monopoly and the "moon landing".

Runner-up in Raw 2001 and as seen on television show Pulp Comedy, Auckland comedian James Keating is rocking houses all over town with his dead-pan, think-about-it style of cleverness. A regular at the Classic comedy club in Auckland, James also pops up occasionally on the North Island comedy circuit.

Wide Eyed will play for four nights during the New Zealand International Comedy Festival at the Comedy Underground, situated at Wallace Trust Gallery, 305 Queen Street, Auckland central.
