The graceful empowerment of culture, identity and authenticity ‘Teine ole Mau’ Dance Company presents PERSPECTIVE a show in which the Choreographer speaks through his Female dancers about his PERSPECTIVE on a Samoan Women’s role here in New Zealand, with guest appearances from the LEGACY Dance Company this show will be part of the Tempo° New Zealand Festival of Dance 2008.

Creative use of Multimedia this hour long show will capture the hearts of ALL who are present – with so many Cultural restrictions put on young Samoans today Keneti Muaiava uses dance (his people’s most ‘Traditional’ form of communication) to raise awareness on Social Issues in a Modern Context.

If you are interested in the ‘Social Fabric’ of South Aucklands ever changing face this show is for you! Keneti Muaiava is regarded as this generations most Influential and Accomplished Samoan Dance Choreographer so if anyone has the right to talk about Samoan Issues through dance it’s Keneti.
