The Kids & Teen show is designed to showcase the best of youth dance in Auckland, and this year’s line up is no exception.

Mt Eden Ballet Academy return with a selection of solo and group works, including award-winning soloists Olivia James-Baird, Brooke Ray and Tom McClintock.  Mixed ability company Touch Compass Youth performs Embedded, an award-winning group work choreographed by Sue Cheesman and Suzanne Cowan. Ichiro Harada’s Movie Night is a play on all things cinematic (from popcorn to horror movie screams), performed by Dance Unlimited from the East Auckland Performing Arts School.Pointy Dog from the Performing Arts School of New Zealand offer a new contemporary work, and it’s time to up the tempo with a high-energy hip hop performance or two by students of the The Dance Studio.
