Talia Carlisle

Born and bred in Wellington, Talia is a trained journalist, comedian, musician and gold medal ballroom and latin dancer.

Her articles have graced 62 front page newspapers and international magazines, and she has taught Shakespeare to high school students while touring New Zealand and Australia with New Zealand Playhouse.

Talia has co-written and performed shows at NZ Performance Art Week, the NZ Fringe Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Also a Jane Austen fan, she played Marianne in Sense and Sensibility in Khandallah Arts Theatre’s 2022 production.

A previous member of Wellington Footlights musical theatre society, and P&O Cruises’ entertainment team, she loves to entertain, be entertained, and can’t wait to write, perform and travel the world once again.
